It all starts with mother Alma;
many are the memories that characterise her life.
She has seen an era of transformations in the field of work pass before her eyes, from the days of pedal sewing machines, ‘sopresse’ and cast-iron irons heated by embers to modern sewing machines.
On 2 June 2000, she was awarded the title “Cavaliere del Lavoro”.

In 1997 the 50th anniversary party.
The apotheosis of a cycle that was coming to an end but had sown the seeds for what was to come:
the merging of the haute couture atelier with the Gadotti cutting and sewing school.
The school was ready to enter the new millennium with a whole new vision
but still with the values that had always characterised it.
Daughter Marilena takes the reins of the business and, together with Anna Bianchi, takes the school into the future:
Adriana Volpe becomes the face and body of the stylistic achievements, fashion shows and events are organised
up to and including participation in Miss Italy.
